Join a community of folks in reading Feeling Great, by Dr. David Burns, pioneer of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Learn the essentials of TEAM-CBT including the Daily Mood Journal (the DMJ), Analysis of Resistance, and some of the many powerful methods from the book to transform Negative Thoughts and change the way you feel.  Sliding scale available, with no one turned away for lack of funds.  Click here to register. 


When Life Hits Hard Book Club 

When life hits hard, it’s easy to get stuck struggling with painful emotion. In this group, you’ll learn practical tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to unhook from struggle, stay present with your experience, and remain open to the richness of life while pursuing what matters.
If you’re already familiar with TEAM-CBT, you’ll find ACT to be a complementary approach that builds naturally on those practices.

Five Secrets Deep Practice Groups 
Hone your communication skills with the Five Secrets of Effective Communication developed by Dr. David D. Burns. In addition to learning the Five Secrets, we will examine the Benefits of Blame and work with the Relationship Journal so that you can learn to pinpoint your role in any relationship and empower yourself to improve it. Each class will have brief didactics, demonstrations, and breakout groups to give plenty of time for practice and feedback on scenarios that are important to you.
